Description: The Internet says that “Mother Goose is not a single, real person, but rather a legendary, fictional narrator and a symbol for traditional fairy tales and nursery rhymes.” She evolved through the centuries, primarily in France, and was responsible for the dissemination of handy wisdom - some albeit pretty dark. This dovetails nicely with what goose means as a spirit or totem animal. Goose represents community, cooperation, synchronicity, and determination which are all aspects of the kind of guidance needed to keep a group or “flock” together. Oh, and knitting is one of those activities that Mother Goose likes to do - making many threads into one beautiful garment which Is why I chose the goose to look like it had been knitted!
