Description: HAVE MERCY. This is for Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde - a woman who carries more grace, courage, and dignity than all the MAGA freaks combined. She stood before power and pleaded for compassion - for immigrants, refugees, LGBTQ+ people, and all those left terrified in the shadows of injustice. How I wish I’d had someone like her to look up to when I was a young, desperately lonely, closeted Christian. To see faith wielded with love and empathy is a reminder that true strength lies in compassion. Empathy is strength - showing mercy is strength.
