Description: Zen Buddhism emphasizes the focus on mindfulness, equanimity and awareness. The enso circle symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the void and the spiritual awakening. Moreover it can symbolize the japanese aesthetic itself. Enso is one of the most common subjects of japanese calligraphy, also called Kanji or Shodo.
