Europa Jupiter Tapestries
Description: By the close of the 21st Century, unmanned space probes have verified the existence of complex organic chemistry in the frozen wastes of Europa’s surface ice. Now, in the mid-22nd Century, a manned mission is being sent to Jupiter’s ice-bound satellite for the first time. After it lands, the crew will spend five lonely years penetrating the icy crust and probing the mysteries of a vast, hidden ocean in the ongoing search for extra-terrestrial life.
Description: ESA's new space exploration mission JUICE - Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer, is scheduled to be launched on 13 April 2023! It will reach the Jupiter system in 2031 and observe Jupiter and its three largest moons Callisto, Europa and Ganymede to investigate the habitability of their icy sub-surface oceans. To celebrate, I made a new design in my series of re-imagined space mission patches. It shows Jupiter and the three of the Galilean moons that will be studied, but in a stylised and abstract design.
Description: Venture beneath the frozen crust of Jupiter’s mysterious moon with this bold retro-style design. A lone deep-sea explorer swims through Europa’s alien ocean, surrounded by glowing jellyfish-like creatures under the ice. A perfect blend of science fiction and vintage space tourism vibes. Great for sci-fi fans, space lovers, and deep-sea dreamers.
Description: Explore the majestic beauty of the Galilean moons in this stunning space art piece. Featuring Jupiter surrounded by its four largest moons—Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto—this design captures the essence of celestial wonder. Perfect for astronomy enthusiasts and space art lovers, this cosmic illustration brings the mysteries of the solar system to life. Ideal for anyone fascinated by planetary science and the vastness of outer space.
