Expedition Patch Tapestries
Description: This Frankenstein patch-style design features the text “The Modern Prometheus,” “Alpine Pursuit Society,” and “Expedition Unearthly.” The snowy mountain scene, lightning, and explorer silhouette evoke the novel’s dramatic pursuit through icy wilderness. A bold gothic adventure design for fans of Mary Shelley, classic literature, and vintage expedition artwork.
Description: Show off your love for classic exploration sci-fi with this detailed embroidered patch design for the "Miskatonic Antarctic Expedition 1931." Celebrating H.P. Lovecraft's iconic novel At the Mountains of Madness, the circular shield depicts colossal monster tentacles emerging from frozen peaks beneath a stunning aurora borealis sky. It provides a sophisticated academic look for adventure scholars, tabletop RPG gamers, and vintage horror fans.
Description: Not everyone chooses the glacier. Most people look at the photographs, appreciate the scale from a comfortable distance, and move on to somewhere warmer. The Glacier Exploration Club is for the ones who walked onto the ice, felt the cold come up through the soles, looked into the crevasse, and considered it one of the better decisions they have ever made. Membership is self-awarded. The badge is the proof.
Description: At the very bottom of the world, beyond the reach of radios and Wi Fi, lies the Dark Sector — a forbidden zone of silence at 90° South. Here, the Amundsen–Scott South Pole Station guards its telescopes against interference, listening only to the universe itself. This design captures that mystery: stark typography, vast negative space, and the silhouette of the South Pole Telescope rising into a star filled void. It feels like a secret mission patch from a 1960s Antarctic expedition — authentic, restrained, and enigmatic. No fiction needed; the science is strange enough.
