Floors Tapestries
Description: This phrase captures the essence of someone who struggles with understanding simple concepts, often feeling frustrated by their own confusion. The person humorously admits to having disappointed various specific objects: books, walls, floors, and bricks—by not grasping ideas easily. The punchline reveals their playful self-awareness and exaggerated frustration, as they joke about hitting their forehead against these objects in a futile attempt to remember or comprehend. It’s a lighthearted way to acknowledge one’s own learning struggles, blending self-deprecating humor with a clever twist on the idea of “beating” in reading comprehension, highlighting the gap between effort and understanding in a funny, relatable manner.
Description: A holiday office tower becomes a visual pressure chamber. Allies and opponents occupy interlocking architectural levels, while a radio connection cuts across the building's rigid divisions. The contrast between a vulnerable central figure and perfectly controlled glass geometry carries the tension without a slogan or a reproduced action scene.

Description: Lincrusta production began at factories in Germany, first in Delmenhorst at the Anker linoleum factory (which later became part of the Deutsche Linoleum Werke) and later at a factory in Hannover, part of Rasch & Co. Lincrusta was promoted as a practical wallcovering and continued to be used in a wide variety of places – including the private rail carriages of Kaiser Wilhelm II. At the same time, due to the phenomenal success of Lincrusta, there was a proliferation of alternative products which came to market.
