Flying Nun Tapestries

Description: A windswept hillside, a battered guitar, and the quiet electricity of New Zealand's underground music scene. This vintage-inspired tribute to The Clean captures the raw, unpolished spirit of early Dunedin indie rock, where jangling guitars and homemade recordings mattered more than studio perfection. Inspired by the DIY culture surrounding Flying Nun Records in the early 1980s, this artwork combines hand-drawn scenery, rough-cut lettering, faded olive-green ink, and distressed cream screen printing. It feels like a forgotten gig poster pulled from the wall of an independent record shop. Made for fans of The Clean, Dunedin Sound, jangly guitar pop, post-punk, and underground alternative music.
