Description: Just Breathe

Description: Meditating older Native man wearing headphones and feathers, holding a cassette player amid bold red and black graphic art. Conveys freedom, inner peace, altered state, spirituality, music and tribal resilience.

Description: Comparing your exhausted mental state to an old answering machine is a truly spectacular jokes tool. You are totally checked out of reality and your brain has officially stopped recording new memories. It is incredibly funny to politely invite people to drop their issues into a void of pure thoughts. We all reach a point where we can no longer process incoming words and simply put up an away signs. Treating your sanity like an unavailable service highlights how completely overwhelmed we always get. They can keep talking but you assure them that nobody is actually sitting at the front desk inside. The pleasant tone of a professional recording makes your total mental breakdown seem very hilarious. Leave your message now!

Description: I am working towards letting go of the things that are out of my hands... even if that's incredibly hard to do. One aspect of anxiety is the powerful urge to try to be prepared for everything, to try to control things down to micro details. This affirmation is for anyone who feel similarly. It is a reminder that we don't have to hold on so tightly to things that were never in our grasp in the first place: I free my mind of what I cannot control.
