Gate Keeper Tapestries

Description: Not every boundary exists to keep you trapped. Some exist because something behind it is worth protecting. Keeper of the Black Gate gives the skull the role of guardian rather than victim. The key descending beneath it suggests authority over passage—who enters, what leaves, and which parts of the self remain private. Surrounded by wings, thorns, moon imagery, and sealed ornamentation, the emblem becomes a declaration of ownership over one’s inner territory. Its meaning is simple but severe: access is not entitlement. Some gates should only open from the inside.
