Description: Located at 1201 34th St NW in the heart of Washington DC's Georgetown neighborhood, the Philadelphia Pizza Company was the go to spot for drunk college kids at 2am, though their pizza was good enough to attract a a daily crowd of sober people just the same. With deals on slices and whole pies with drinks for less than cab fare to a fancier joint, the Philadelphia Pizza Company was hard to beat, plus they made cheesesteaks, burritos, and all kinds of other random things people love to put in their mouth, This design celebrates this long lost haunt with a recreation of their so bad it's good clipart logo with the big guy forever frozen in time tossing that fresh dough.
Description: The Georgetown Loop railroad connects the once thriving Colorado mining towns of Georgetown and Silver Plume which lie 2 miles apart in a steep, narrow mountain canyon. Completed in 1884, this narrow gauge rail line was considered an engineering marvel for its time. It covers 3.1 winding miles of track, 640 feet of elevation gain, and crosses 4 bridges over Clear Creek, including the massive Devil's Gate High Bridge shown here.
