Description: Winsome Witch was a cartoon series that debuted on October 2, 1965, as part of The Atom Ant/Secret Squirrel Show. The series followed the misadventures of Winsome “Winnie” W. Witch, a good-hearted but somewhat bumbling witch who traveled the world on her flying broomstick, using her magical powers to help those in need, usually with hilariously unpredictable results. Winnie was a self-described “fairy godmother dropout” whose trademark incantation, “Ippity-Pippity-Pow!” often unleashed more trouble than she bargained for. Unlike the sinister witches of traditional fairy tales, Winnie was friendly, cheerful, and always eager to lend a hand. The series ran for 26 episodes between 1965 and 1967 in the golden age of Saturday morning cartoons.
