Gwiazdor Tapestries

Description: Gwiazdor (say: GVYAHZ-dor) is the Christmas Eve gift-bringer of western and northern Poland: Greater Poland, Kashubia, Kuyavia, Warmia. He grew out of the carolers who walked with a star, hence the name: a sheepskin coat worn fur-out, a tall fur cap, a hidden face, a sack of gifts and a birch rod. He asked the children their prayers and carols - good answers got a present, bad ones met the rod. Original engraving-style artwork: Gwiazdor under the first star of Christmas Eve. The version for light garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/100066384-gwiazdor-polish-gift-bringer-christmas-folklore-li
