Heap Tapestries
Description: Deep in a misty swamp, a towering monster of tangled roots, mud and vegetation lunges toward a terrified blonde in a torn turquoise blouse and tan shorts. Its gaping jaws, dangling tongue and purple claws emerge beneath twisted, leafless trees. Bold PSYCHO lettering and the chilling announcement “Introducing the Horrible Heap!!” transform this encounter into a sensational vintage creature-feature poster, alive with saturated greens, scarlet accents and ominous pulp-horror atmosphere.
Description: "Where exactly does a heap end? Five piles built from individual grains, from a full heap to one lonely grain, turn the ancient puzzle of vagueness into a clean, logical design. The sorites paradox of Eubulides: remove one grain and a heap is still a heap, until it isn't. Piles of grains shrink to a single grain under a question mark, with heap(n) implies heap(n - 1). For logic and philosophy students, linguists, mathematicians, computer scientists and anyone who enjoys vague boundaries and fuzzy logic. A smart gift for teachers and graduates.
Description: The Jim Bell Friday Night Dinner inspired design celebrates Mark Heap's hilariously well observed portrayal of Jim Bell, the obsessive neighbour of everyone's nightmares. Starring Tamsin Greig, Paul Ritter, Simon Bird, and Tom Rosenthal as the Goodman family, Friday Night Dinner is an award winning sitcom written and produced by Robert Popper and based on his own disfunctional Jewish upbringing.
