House Of The Dead 2 Tapestries

A poster I designed for "Army of Darkness," the third movie in Sam Raimi's Evil Dead series. I based the design off of a coach gun manual since much of the movie's action revolves so heavily against Ash's "boomstick." Throw in a tagline and a handful of credits and "voila!"—you've got a pretty sweet poster. If you're interested, I did two more of these types of designs for the series; one for the original "Evil Dead" and one for "Evil Dead 2." Both of those follow a similar concept which is taken in two very different directions.

Linda's Michigan State University sweatshirt logo from The Evil Dead (1981). Linda's actor, Betsy Baker, wears this when entering the Cabin. This logo was recreated to create a prop replica crewneck sweatshirt from Michigan State Universities 1970's sweatshirts sold at the time.
