Description: Black and white pen and ink animal illustration of a Humboldt penguin. DescriptionInk illustration of a Humboldt penguin. Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I used mostly Sakura pigma micron marker pens and an Akashiya Sai ink brush pen for the darkest areas. Penguins are aquatic flightless birds, all of who have wings that have adapted into flippers suitable for their marine environment. Humboldt penguins are a vulnerable species penguin, they have black markings and spots in their feathers.
Description: A cool motif for lovers of sea birds. Penguins (latin for spheniscidae) are divided into different breeds. In jackass penguins there are humboldt, magellanic and galápago penguins. There are also the supergroups yellow-eyed and little penguins. A creative surprise for family and friends who love penguin quotes from king, crested or emperor penguins and own many penguin costumes and accessories. A great idea for all who love flightless seabirds like adelie, gentoo or rockhopper penguins.
