Description: The Hussites were a pre-Protestant Christian movement centered on the teachings of Jan Hus, a Czech religious reformer who was burned at the stake in 1415 for heresy. They are considered one of the most important forerunners of the Protestant Reformation, as they advocated for various reforms that later became central to Protestantism.
