Description: The F.W. Cook Brewing Company was founded in 1853 by Frederick Washington Cook and Jacob Rice in what was then a cornfield just outside of downtown Evansville, Indiana. F.W. Cook brewed several beers under their Cook's brand over the years, and in the early '50s, they added their first ale. Naming it Cook’s 500 Ale after the popular race that took place every year a couple of hours north in Indianapolis, the new ale was another hit for F.W. Cook. Sadly, workers went on strike in 1955, at which point the brewery's owners ceased operations. The brewery closed its doors for good in September 1957 after selling all of the beer it had already produced, including the very last batch of Cook’s 500 Ale.
Description: Drewrys was a brand of Canadian beer established in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1877, but was actually brewed for much of its history in South Bend, Indiana. Besides its Canadian connection and the famous Mountie and his trusty horse on its labels, the main Drewrys claims to fame were that the beer was "more flavor; less filling; more fun!" This was years before the popularity of light beers came to pass and many ads proved how light their beer was by demonstrating how Drewrys would float in a tub of ice water as the competitor's beers sank to the bottom.

Description: This is a really obscure breweriana design hailing from Brazil, Indiana which was and to out knowledge still is the only brewery to every operate in Brazil. Brazil Brewing Ice and Power Co. opened in 1901 and closed in 1907 it was open for 6 years. As a Pre-Prohibition Brewery, any advertising items or collectibles are likely to be desirable to collectors as they tend to be hard to find. Brazil Brewing Ice and Power Co. was the only brewery that was located in Brazil, IN at West Main St. at the city limits. This design is based on a curvy sign shape in promotion of Brazil Beer. The center depicts a distinguished gentleman with a sword surrounded by the taxt 'Brazil Brewing Company - Brazil, Indiana.

Description: Charles L. Centlivre founded The French Brewery in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1862. Centlivre started out brewing a couple of beers and ales, and would later change the name to Centlivre Brewing as the brewery's portfolio had expanded to over a dozen brews in the early 1930s. Old Crown was added in 1933 and was a runaway hit with beer drinkers, quickly becoming Centlivre Brewing's top seller. The beer was so popular, that Centlivre Brewing adopted the name Old Crown Brewing Corporation in 1962. Sadly, a decade later, Old Crown found themselves in financial trouble, and ended up shuttering the brewery in 1973.
