Description: The Lobster Pot was one of Blackpool's finest restaurants for decades and was alleged to be haunted. Ghosts aside, the restaurant was famous for its seafood with a menu that wasn't your typical English seaside fare. Upscale dishes like lobster thermidor and potted shrimps would be served with a pot of tea and a plate of buttered bread. The establishment was popular with locals and tourists alike, with many folks making a point to stop by Blackpool just for a chance to dine at The Lobster Pot before continuing on with their travels.
