This simple kintsugi inspired design is a great reminder of healing in all aspects of the heart.

I have always been inspired by the practice of Kintsugi, which is a Japanese means of repairing broken pottery by gluing it together with gold-infused lacquer. In Abstraction 59, the paint cracked quite a bit, and instead of dismissing it as a work, I painted the cracks with gold.
