Kubrik Tapestries
Description: Kubrick has certainly been an influence on my visual sense, but this is the first time I've explored adapting one of his cinematic icons, based on the original book, A Clockwork Orange. The question I posed to myself is "What animal represents Alex best?" The cat was an obvious choice, both approachable yet an animal that can equally give no f**ks. It can be both worshiped and reviled, and so it fit. This particular image became a pun based on the line "Bit of the ultra violence."

The famous (infamous) protagonist from the classic Anthony Burgess novel "A Clockwork Orange" and the classic Stanley Kubrick movie of the same name.
