Lent Prayer Fasting Tapestries
Description: Catholic Lent artwork featuring the meaningful practices of pray fast give alongside a rough hand painted cross. Bold stacked lettering creates a strong Ash Wednesday devotional message for Catholics observing Lent and preparing for Easter. A faith centered design for parish communities, Catholic families, church groups, and anyone reflecting on prayer, fasting, giving, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal.
Description: Jesus' retreat into the desert is the main biblical foundation of Lent, which lasts 40 days in imitation of those 40 days of fasting, prayer, and temptation of Christ, preparing for Easter. This episode, immediately following his Baptism, is always read in the Gospel of the First Sunday of Lent in the Catholic liturgy, symbolizing the spiritual struggle, dependence on the Word of God, and victory over temptation. With this design, we can remind ourselves and those around us to use this time to prepare for Easter.
