Cell division. Immunofluorescent light micrograph of a human epithelial cell (centre) during the late anaphase stage of mitosis. Mitosis is the cycle of replication and division by which new body cells are formed. Here the chromosomes (blue) of the parent cell have duplicated and the pairs are being pulled apart by microtubules (spindles, green) to opposite poles of the cell, in a process called cytokinesis. When the cell has split, two identical daughter cells are formed.

Sam Flynn's legacy inside the world of the computer. Here he is in a light suit as he seeks to find his missing father, Kevin.

TRON formatting to the Grid

Dogs running and people walking and cycling through a sunlit glade,whilst an old aircraft thunders overhead into a brief hailstorm. I use Winsor and Newton professional acrylics and glazes and the painting has a high gloss, deep lustrous surface. The edges of the wood panel are painted and glazed to enable the artwork to be displayed with or without a frame. The painting is supplied with fittings for hanging and a certificate of authenticity.

This narrative painting is partly allegorical, mainly autobiographical and is Inspired by an incident walking the dog in Bishopstoke woods, Hampshire, when an 80 year old Spitfire aircraft thunders overhead powered by its Merlin engines and soon after there is a brief hailstorm. Two cyclists dressed in tweeds on bespoke bicycles freewheel past a row of artificial trees, whilst a dog runs, stops and stares.

I knew Flynn was still alive inside of the mainframe! This design is for everyone who wishes they could transport themselves into their favorite video game, or perhaps live in a digital world and ride light cycles all day like Flynn.
