This made for a natural segue into other small engine powered devices which included lawn mowers and chain saws, both of which were in demand in post-war America, so in 1945, the firm constructed a brand-new state-of-the-art factory on Grand Avenue to facilitate the manufacture of these items. Much like their bicycles, Silver King chainsaws were highly regarded for their original design and quality workmanship and today, they remain highly valued among chainsaw collectors.
