Description: The Luddites fought against industrialization by attempting to smash the machines. The machines were protected and some of the Luddites were executed. Fast forward to now and jobs are under threat from a new wave of robots and automation. The term "Luddite" may make a comeback as humans try to protect their jobs and livelihoods. Image shows hand drawn lettering made by a craftsman from wood, bolts and glue. Not a robot in sight.
