In this collection of artworks I mixed together the beauty of classic Hollywood stars and the beauty of the most famous art portraits. The search for the right pictures is never easy. It’s not just a matter of finding the “perfect angle”, but often a need to find that very same detail without which the artwork wouldn’t be the same. A particular hat, for example, or the same position of the hands. Drafts are endless, but the end result always pays off the hard work: fascinating, beautiful, mesmerizing, hypnotic, just plain weird…you name it. Each mashup adds a new level of perception to faces and paintings we are all familiar with.

Pretty much, this is what would happen. He would show up at her door and declare himself, just as in this iconic scene from the movie Love Actually. What a romantic Friday that would be!
