Description: I named this mandala after a song on Larkin Poe’s most recent album - Bloom, because the color is somewhere in between blue and Hendrix’s purple in Purple Haze. Larkin Poe is more primarily a blues band so I’m sure they derive much inspiration from Jimi Hendrix as do so many musicians in that tradition. Bluephoria is also the name of a type of Yerba Mate tea!

Description: There's a particular blue — deep, almost midnight — that shows up again and again in West African indigo-dye cloth, and this design is my attempt to hold onto that feeling.
