Medium Tapestries
Description: Spiritualism can be traced back to the 1840s when activities ranging from séances to speak with the dead and the channeling of spirits rapidly became a fashionable activity among men and women alike and across all social classes. A century later, many practitioners in this space had gained celebrity status as they became famous for their abilities. Cassadaga, Florida's Madame Vadoma and her crystal skull were no exception as her readings were eerily accurate and her séances became the stuff of legend, even in a town like Cassadaga that was overrun with psychic mediums and the like.

However, Nostradamus preferred to call himself an "astrophile," or a "star-lover," rather than a formal astrologer.

Tens of thousands were distributed through the Lend-Lease program to the British Commonwealth and Soviet Union. The tank was named by the British for the American Civil War general William Tecumseh Sherman.
