Mermaid Robot Tapestries

A recreation of the original NES box art for The Little Mermaid (developed by Capcom) using elements from Capcom's Mega Man series, primary Splash Woman from Mega Man 9.

Robot Mermaid

I used fractal forms to make this robot mermaid. She has a speaker instead of a face and speakers in her tail like the suckers of an octopus tentacle, to lure sailors with her song.

MerBot

Robot mermaids with speakers for faces flank a faceless cyborg king. "Premorse" means to bite or tear something off roughly and is the title of my upcoming solo show later this September at @PGEville.

Jedol (his full name is Jet Dolphin) is an ocean research and rescue android, and also a ladies man who likes to show off his skills, both what he's programmed with and what he learned from experience. Do not ask him to take off his helmet, he's sensitive about that. His mom, Inari didn't think a naval android needed a certain fabulous part, but she sure made him "inherit" her body shape.
