This design is based on a row of brightly coloured cottages in Mumbles, an iconic town on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales.

Mumbles Pier Centenary Clock This clock was part of The Mumbles100 year celebration back in 1998 and now with the new phase of the Pier near completion and our 125th Birthday next May it seems only fitting to restore this beloved piece and give it a new home on the Pier itself. Currently laying in wait ready for erection next week and a face lift come down and see the exciting progress. And here it is in full glory for all to see. The Gower Peninsular is one of my favourite places in UK and, as soon as we check in to our hotel, our first stoip is this beautiful bay just down the road from the wonderful town of Mumbles. I hope lockdown will end soon so we can visit again. I have painted Limeslade Bay many times and this is the largest version so far. The original is available from bobpetcher.com

The moss covered skeletal remains of the Norweigan barque Helvetia protrude from the brown sandy beach at Rhossili on The Gower in Wales. The sailing ship foundered on the beach on 31st October 1887 shedding its cargo of 500 tons of wood.

These are all from an original acrylic painting of Bracelets Bay on the Gower Peninsular in South Wales. A wild and remote place yet only a few hundred yards from the cosmopolitan town of Mumbles with lively restaurants and café culture.
