Napster P2p Tapestries
Description: Before streaming algorithms took over your musical taste, a glorious peer to peer revolution was born in a college dorm room back in 1999. Napster completely changed how the world shared and dialled into its favourite tunes, paving the way for the modern digital era while singlehandedly giving the music industry a collective heart attack. This design is a nostalgic nod to that beautiful, chaotic moment in history when downloading a single track took forty minutes and a green cat headphone logo ruled the internet. Wear it as a badge of honour to show everyone you survived the golden age of internet piracy and dial-up internet.
Description: Kazaa (often stylized as KaZaA) was a popular peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing application launched in 2001 that allowed users to share music, videos, and files for free. Following [Napster's shutdown, it became the go-to platform, utilizing a decentralized FastTrack protocol to avoid central server shutdowns. It was notorious for spam, malware, and legal action, eventually pivoting to a legal, paid service before closing in 2012.
