Description: It is a large species of pacu and is a close relative of piranhas and is locally called Pirapitinga. It is native to the Amazon basin in tropical South America. It mainly feeds on fruits, seeds, and nuts. It can reach up to 88 cm (2.9 ft) in length and 25 kg (55 lb) in weight. All profits from sale will be given to the Lighthouse Mission to assist the homeless.
