All bridges and waterways are mined. The United States Police Force, like an army, is encamped around the island. There are no guards inside the prison, only prisoners and the worlds they have made. The rules are simple: once you go in, you don't come out.

Snake Plissken is a former special forces soldier who is tasked with infiltrating the crime-ridden and isolated island of Manhattan, which has been converted into a maximum-security prison, in order to rescue the president of the United States. It is not possible to speculate on how he might approach running a pizza shop as it is outside of the context of the movie and the character's established skill set and abilities.
