Gone With the Wind quote

You may not recognize this Vivien Leigh film, and that’s because she never made it. Well, at least she didn’t finished it. In 1953, aged 39, she went to Ceylon to begin principal photography in what was about to be her next film, Elephant Walk. Her costars were Dana Andrews and aussie Peter Finch, with whom it was rumored she was having a torrid affair. After shooting on location, they all went back to Hollywood to resume shooting and that's where her mental breakdown made impossible to continue. She was taken home to England by her husband Sir Laurence Olivier for treatment and was diagnosed with manic depression (now known as bipolar disorder), and thus she was replaced in the role by a very young and also beautiful Elizabeth Taylor.

This whimsical image features a cat exuding a cool, indifferent attitude, dressed in a tuxedo and bow tie, reminiscent of a classic film character. The cat is casually reclining on an ornate, vintage sofa with one paw resting on its forehead. The feline is wearing oversized black sunglasses, enhancing its nonchalant expression. Above the cat, in bold, stylized lettering, reads the phrase "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn," which is a famous line from the movie.

Clark Gable is one of my fave all time actors. Hollywoods leading man throughout the 1930s, 1940s, and beyond.

One of the greatest Hollywood romances is also perhaps the most tragic. After both experiencing failed first marriages, Clark Gable and Carol Lombard, two of the greatest stars of their time, found each other. Blissfully they lived in their love until Lombard, in a rush to get home to Gable, took a tragic plane ride which ended their marriage abruptly. Many say Gable was never the same again. Celebrate their love and classic Hollywood's in this romantic design.
