Description: Set fifteen years in the then-future year 1983, the series tells the tale of the crew and passengers of a sub-orbital transport ship named Spindrift. In the pilot episode, the Spindrift is en route from Los Angeles to London, on an ultra fast sub-orbital flight. Just beyond Earth's boundary with space, the Spindrift encounters a magnetic space storm, and is dragged through a space warp to a mysterious planet where everything is twelve times larger than on Earth, whose inhabitants the Earthlings nickname "the Giants". The Spindrift crash-lands, and the damage renders it inoperable.
Description: Richard Rogers dared to put the pipes and staircases on the outside, and London has never looked the same since. The Lloyd's Building is the City's boldest architectural statement.

Description: The iconic Lloyds building is the home of the Lloyds of London Insurance Market. Designed and finished in 1977 by Richard Rogers, it started construction the year after his successful Pompidou Centre in Paris was completed. This style of architecture was innovative in having its services such as staircases, lifts, ductwork, electrical power conduits and water pipes on the outside, leaving an uncluttered space inside; and championed by famous architects Richard Rogers, Sir Norman Foster, and Renzo Piano. Drawn in Rotring technical pen and India ink at a large scale to ensure clarity on large paper sizes, and printed on high quality paper, The building is drawn here as an isometric projection, which depicts the subject as a diagram.
