Description: The Wow! signal was a strong narrow band radio signal received on August 15, 1977, by Ohio State University's Big Ear radio telescope in the United States, while the telescope was being used to support the search for extraterrestrial intelligence project. The signal appeared to come from the constellation Sagittarius and bore the expected hallmarks of extraterrestrial origin.
Description: One of my favorite sections of the Louvre is The Department of Egyptian Antiquities. It comprises over 50,000 pieces, includes artifacts from the Nile civilizations (which date from 4,000 BC to the 4th century). The collection is among the world's largest, and it overviews Egyptian life spanning Ancient Egypt, the Middle Kingdom, the New Kingdom, Coptic art, and the Roman, Ptolemaic, and Byzantine periods.
