Description: Founded by Norman Lee Gagel in 1970, Ride-N-Glide Skateboard Park was one of the first skateparks launched in America's southeast. Located in Shively, a suburb of Louisville, Kentucky, the park attracted eager skaters from all around Jefferson County and beyond who came to ride the park's snake run and various size bowls as skateboard fever began engulfing the country.
