Description: Design Based on Slavic Motifs. Slavs are the largest European ethnolinguistic group. They speak the various Slavic languages, belonging to the larger Balto-Slavic branch of the Indo-European languages. Slavs are geographically distributed throughout northern Eurasia, mainly inhabiting Central and Eastern Europe, and the Balkans to the west; and Siberia to the east.
Description: Slavic Calendar. Ancient Slavs had their own calendar of twelve months which indicated seasonal changes. The months had original Slavic names based on observation of changes in their natural surrounding. Today, five Slavic nations still use those ancient names on their calendar and not the ones of Latin origin known in the west.
