Smithsonian Institution Tapestries

Description: The slogan "The Castle on the Mall" tops this mid-century-style ad for the Smithsonian Institution's red brick Castle building. Towers and lampposts frame the building under a sunset sky.

Description: The red towers of the Smithsonian Castle rise against a swirling blue and yellow sky dotted with stars. The Washington Monument glows faintly in the distance, giving this Van Gogh-style piece its DC skyline anchor.
