Description: The SMU Mustangs represent Southern Methodist University in NCAA Division I athletics and officially transitioned to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in July 2024. Under the leadership of Athletic Director Damon Evans, the program has recently experienced a "record-breaking" resurgence across several major sports during its inaugural years in the power conference.
