Surprise Toy Tapestries
Description: For generations of kids, one of the best parts of buying candy or cereal wasn't the food — it was discovering the toy hidden inside. Beginning in the early 20th century and reaching its peak during the 1950s through the 1980s, countless products included prizes ranging from tiny plastic figures and stickers to puzzles, whistles, decoder rings, temporary tattoos, and collectible miniatures. From breakfast cereals to snack foods, brands turned packaged toy surprises into powerful marketing tools that kept children coming back for more. Although modern safety regulations have largely eliminated toys packaged directly inside food in many countries, these tiny prizes remain a nostalgic reminder of a time when kids lived for unexpected treasures
