Swiping Tapestries
Description: There’s a negative feeling that happens when you casually hand someone your phone to look at one photo, expecting a two-second interaction, only to watch them take control like they’ve been appointed owner of your camera roll. What was supposed to be a quick glance can become an unexpected tour through screenshots, selfies, blurry food pictures, random receipts, accidental photos of the floor, old memes, and things you genuinely don’t remember saving. The confidence is impressive, too. No hesitation, no permission, just an immediate swipe as if they’ve been granted unlimited access to every questionable image you’ve ever captured. You’re sitting there calculating how quickly you can reclaim the device without making the situation awkward.
