Tentacles Skull Tapestries
Description: This is another one of my fake tarot card designs. It could actually be two of pentacles, but Tentacles of Pentacles rhymes and I couldn't resist the opportunity! It is skulls and skeletons and crescent moons and some moon phases... All the elements that make the design my own! In occult and divinatory usage the suit of coins, that may alternately be known as "Pentacles", is connected with the classical element of Earth, the physical body and possessions or wealth. Coins as a Latin suit represent the feudal class of traders, and therefore to worldly matters in general. Associated physical characteristics include dark hair and eyes, dark complexion, and sturdy build.
Description: A circular emblem with an orange outline on a black background. Centered within the emblem is a detailed depiction of a skull with tentacles wrapped around it. The skull's tongue is extended and appears to be wrapped by a tentacle. The text "WHAT IS DEAD MAY NEVER DIE" is inscribed in an arc along the top and bottom edges of the circle.
Description: Aries (meaning “ram”) is the first astrological sign in the zodiac. In astrology, Aries is considered a positive (extrovert) sign. It is also considered a fire sign, and is one of four cardinal signs.Aries is ruled by the planet Mars. Being the first sign in the zodiac, Aries is associated with the astrological 1st house. It is also the fourth design in my Zodiac series. Shown here as a ram skull with tentacles, just because I love skulls and tentacles… well I love everything dark, horror, macabre looking… Also, I really love how the horns turned out.
Description: A striking composition featuring a pink deer skull with dark hair, prominent pink antlers, and red accents. Surrounding the skull are swirling teal tentacles adorned with small pink flowers and floral branches. A subtle halo-like element encircles the top of the skull. The background is black.
Description: A surreal composition featuring five distinct heads arranged horizontally against a black background. From left to right: a head with a stitched heart emerging from its open top and a bloody tear, a green-skinned zombie-like head, a skull head adorned with tentacles, a head wearing white sunglasses, and a head with a donut in place of an eye.
Description: Did you know that mermaids in most folk tales are not happy singing half-girl-half-fish, but actually monsters? Cool, huh? Mermaids appear in the folklore of many cultures worldwide. The first stories appeared in ancient Assyria, in which the goddess Atargatis transformed herself into a mermaid out of shame for accidentally killing her human lover. Mermaids are sometimes associated with perilous events such as floods, storms, shipwrecks, and drownings. Mermaids appear in British folklore as unlucky omens, both foretelling disaster and provoking it. That is why I tried to show my mermaid as beautiful, but dark and dangerous looking, she has tentacles for hair and horns. I imagined her being very connected to the Moon...
Description: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" means: In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming. Another design dedicated to the great H.P. Lovecraft and his most famous character Cthulhu. I know this probably shouldn't look like a human skull, but I guess there's nothing like a skull to symbolize death. Anyway, hope you Lovecraftian freaks like this one :)
