A mixed media collage using paint, paper and maps made during an art retreat in Maine.

Inspired by the beautiful Bogolan or Mudcloth of Mali. Made by dyeing fabric with fermented mud and used all over the world. This is the second Mudcloth design I made, the first was so popular.

I attempted a geode effect by making the lines go around the center to the left. Just let your mind relax and follow the undulating lines and swirls. Made in Photoshop.

Patterns and colors on leaves always draw me. These are Coral Bell leaves.

An earthy colored version of my previous Concentric Circles (Pastel) This was inspired by some African textiles that I saw on the internet. They look like eyes to me.
