Description: Some indiviuals communicate through long conversations, chosen words, and thoughtful explanations. Others prefer a small blinking light and the firm belief that everyone nearby can figure out the rest. There’s something wonderfully efficient about announcing a lane change without having to make eye contact, explain your intentions, or discuss your feelings. One little click says, “I’m going over there,” and suddenly the entire highway becomes a group project. Of course, sometimes the signal goes on three business days before the turn actually happens, while other times it appears approximately half a second after the maneuver has already begun. Still, credit where credit is due: at least the message was technically sent.
