Description: Tusken Raiders, less formally referred to as Sand People or simply as Tuskens, were a culture of nomadic sentients indigenous to the desert planet Tatooine, where they were often hostile to local settlers. Tusken children were called Uli-ah. The name of Tusken Raiders was acquired much later, due to a period of concerted attacks on the settlement called Fort Tusken around eight decades before 19 BBY. One tribe captured the bounty hunter Boba Fett, but accepted him into their tribe after he had proved his worth to them.
Description: Tatooine was a sparsely inhabited circumbinary desert planet located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories. Part of a binary star system, the planet orbited two scorching suns, resulting in the world lacking the necessary surface water to sustain large populations. As a result, many residents of the planet instead drew water from the atmosphere via moisture farms. The planet also had little surface vegetation. It was the homeworld to the native Jawa and Tusken Raider species and of Anakin and Luke Skywalker, who would go on to shape galactic history.
Description: Beggar's Canyon was a dry river bed that cut through Ben's Mesa, on the desert world of Tatooine. Its landmarks included the so-called Dead Man's Turn, the Diablo Cut, and the Stone Needle. Description: One of Lili Ledy's most successful licensed products were the figures based on the movie "Star Wars." One of their peculiarities that made them sought after among collectors was the fact that these Mexican editions presented variations in size, painting and style with respect to the originals produced by Kenner or - even - figures that did not exist in the original line were created. An example of this is found in the 12-inch line of these figures; the so-called "Man of the Dunes" (Tusken Raider), which in its time was not produced in 12 inches in the United States. The 12-inch figure line also featured exclusive box designs and featured seven figures: Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia, R2-D2, Dune Man and Jawa.
Description: In the year 4 ABY, as a result of the death of crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure and the withdrawal of the Imperial Military, a power vacuum opened up on the Outer Rim desert planet of Tatooine. Seeking to take advantage of this, the Mining Collective arrived in the small town of Mos Pelgo the very night they celebrated the Imperial withdrawal. The Mining Collective made use of enforcers who wore uniforms made up mostly of shades of brown. They also wore helmets and were armed with blaster rifles. During their occupation of Mos Pelgo, the Collective made use of a camtono to store valuables and a landspeeder. They also made use of slave labor, being willing to turn the town into a slave camp.
Description: The Jundland Wastes were a region of Tatooine, a desert planet located in the Outer Rim Territories. The Great Chott salt flat existed in the southeastern extreme of the Jundland Wastes. Black melons grew in the Jundland Wastes, providing Tusken Raiders with a reliable source of milk. Luke Skywalker was attacked by a group of Tusken Raiders led by A'Koba in the Jundland Wastes, before being rescued by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
