Instead of the usual bleeding red heart, why not a black heart? After all, at some point black hearts can bleed also.

Sometimes, we feel we cannot be loved due to something about us. We feel like a monster, both unloved and impossible to love. Yet sometimes, it is not that we cannot be loved but that it takes one special person to love us. This art represents such a situation.
