The word anarchy comes from the ancient Greek ἀναρχία (anarchia), which combines ἀ (a), "not, without" and ἀρχή (arkhi), "ruler, leader, authority." Anarchy, in its truest form, has nothing to do with violence and chaos and everything to do with self-governance; nothing to do with wilfully destructive behaviour and everything to do with a profound sense of personal responsibility and with nurturing the capacity for such. Anarchy is NOT 'every man for himself' - it is, "We are all in this together - let's behave accordingly." Description: The character Jesus in the Bible was absolutely 110% an anarchist. No, that doesn't mean he identified with a political ideology, in fact quite the opposite. Every statist Christian wants to believe Jesus held their same political views, whether socialist, conservative, or whatever. But Jesus was no statist at all, he did not bow down to men who claimed to possess "authority". To think that the Son of God would have worshipped the Almighty State is just immature and ridiculous.
