War Tapestries
Description: WAR is a striking and thought-provoking design that depicts the towering smoke of an atomic bomb. The massive cloud of smoke rises high, merging seamlessly with the word WAR. The central letter “A” is not literally drawn, but instead represented through the shape of the smoke itself, giving the impression that it can be read within the destruction. This design symbolizes the devastation and haunting presence of war, serving as both a bold visual and a reminder of its impact.
Description: This Dogs of War illustration features the Russian KV2. It was a massive tank in its day. A huge 152mm howitzer was mounted in a battle ship style turret. It was slow, top heavy and cumbersome but almost impervious to attack. These dogs appear to run down a locals bicycle. They must have not been looking where they were going!
Description: The design comes from a Chinese propaganda poster made in 1967 in support of the North Vietnamese government in war against the American invasion and southern puppet government. I have restored, refinished, and digitized this design in order to preserve this piece of history. Check out more of my art and products at https://spacedoglaika.com/
