Description: Back in Black is the third studio album from legendary Hip-Hop trio Whodini, released in 1986 on Jive Records. Produced primarily by the influential Larry Smith, the album continued Whodini’s evolution from early electro-rap pioneers into a smoother, more sophisticated sound that blended Hip-Hop, funk, R&B, and electronic production. The album features memorable tracks including “Funky Beat,” “One Love,” “Big Mouth,” “Growing Up,” and “I’m a H_e.” Back in Black captures Whodini during an important period when Hip-Hop was expanding beyond block parties and into mainstream music culture.
