Windows Phone Tapestries

Description: PLEASE DON'T PICK UP THE PHONE. If you know, you know. Before Wi-Fi, getting online was a household negotiation. You waited through the screeching modem, watched the little running man, and prayed nobody picked up the telephone just as you were about to connect. Inspired by the classic America Online connection screen, this distressed retro design features a Windows 95-style interface, the familiar AOL running man, and a progress bar stuck at a painfully familiar 99%. It's a nostalgic tribute to dial-up modems, busy signals, AOL chat rooms, instant messaging, and the days when getting online meant temporarily taking over the family phone line.
